| Research activities Vangie Foshee's research is on adolescent problem behaviors. Her etiological research has included identifying determinants of violence between adolescent dating couples, adolescent cigarette smoking and alcohol use, and adolescent sexual behavior. Intervention studies have included development and evaluation of Safe Dates, a school and community-based adolescent dating violence prevention program, and development and evaluation of a family-based adolescent substance abuse prevention program Family Matters. Teaching responsibilities include secondary analysis and research methods and program evaluation |
