Carolina Public Health Solutions funds two types of GVPs:
- Faculty from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health may undertake focused working sabbaticals in an approved organization working in the field of study anywhere around the world.
- Experts from outside the School are invited or competitively selected from think tanks, businesses, non-government organizations and academic institutions from across North Carolina and around the world come to the School to work on important public health problems.
A new round of competitively-selected GVPs is not anticipated in the near term. However, if you have ideas about special interests or experts, please contact us.
