Alumni Association

Dear Fellow Alumni, Welcome to the Web site of the Biostatistics Section of the UNC School of Public Health Alumni Association (SPHAA). This web site is dedicated to alumni and student issues and will provide you a forum for interacting directly with the Directors and Officers of the Alumni Association and with other alumni and students. The web site will provide you with general news and information about the Alumni Association. We have one very important feature that is of interest to alumni and students. This feature is an electronic mentoring service. The primary purpose of this service is to establish stronger linkages between current students and alumni in order to provide advice about career options and other relevant matters. It will also allow alumni to seek advice and share ideas with each other. Essentially, it can be whatever we make it, so please use this forum to give us your feedback on how you would like to make use of this service. There are directions elsewhere on the web site for how to sign up for the mentoring listserv. Although it is difficult for all of to stay in touch, the Alumni Association hopes that this web page will help to foster better communications among all of us. In order to make it work, we need your participation and your advice about what you would like to see on this web site – so please use this web site and let us you know what you think. We are always looking for alumni that are interested in assisting with Biostatistics Section activities.
