A/V Services Equipment List Print

To reserve audio/visual equipment, you are required to complete the Electronic Request Form and submit to Audio/Visual Services. Those who plan to take requested item(s) out of the building will be required to submit a photocopy of a picture I.D. for our records.

Audio Conference / Speaker Phone
Hands-free telephone conferencing. Used to amplify audio from an analog phone line. Unit is not configured for digital phone lines. Useful for small groups or auditoriums.


  
Audio Kits
Record interviews, discussion groups, or any important event. The flat-microphone allows sound recording from anywhere in the room without a hand-held microphone. Unit requires standard audiotape (tapes not provided by AV Services).

  

Camcorders (Standard VHS) w/Tripod
Videotape important presentations and lectures onto a VHS-tape. AV Services will duplicate a maximum of 3 VHS copies. The camera requires a standard VHS-tape. Mini-DV Camera also available upon request. (tapes not provided by AV Services).


 
 

Digital Camera
High resolution photographs available for the web, email, or Power Point Presentations. Save pictures directly onto a floppy disk using the Sony Mavica digital camera.


  

Flip Chart Stands
A valuable tool for presentations. Use these easels to hold notepads and markers. (notepad paper not provided).

 


 
 

Laptop Computers
Available for use inside the classroom, at the office or home. Only IBM laptops are available with Microsoft Office Software included.

 


  

Laser Pointer
Give your index finger a rest. Let the laser pointer work to punctuate your materials by showing details of the visual presentation.

 


  

Power Point Remote
Use this small device to advance power point slides from anywhere in the room. Comes with a receiver that easily connects to your computers USB port. Remote also is equiped with an easy to use laser pointer.

 


 
 

LCD Projectors (Portable)
These portable units are used to project both PC (data) and video signals. Works in combination with other media devices delivering large, clear images of Power Point shows, internet, PC applications, and video (VHS or DVD).


 
 

Overhead Projectors
Present transparencies. Portable Overhead projectors are also available for off-campus use.

 


  

PC & LCD on cart
This handy unit comes equipped with both a desktop PC and LCD projector for your convenience. The PC has a built in CD-Rom and is available with 100 or 250 zip drive. Internet can be accessed upon request. These units are not available for out-of-building use.


 
 

Slide Projector
Ideal for presentations with detailed images from traditional 35 mm slides.


 
 
TV & VCR on Cart
Mobile unit allows viewing of VHS format tapes. Large 24" screen is easily viewed even in large classes. These units are not available for off-campus or out-of-building use.

VCR / Monitor Combos
13" unit is ideal to view VHS tapes in a small environment such as an office desk or cubical.

 


  
Portable PA System (Small)
Amplify your voice through the use of this small portable unit. Unit also comes with hand-held or clip-on microphone.

  

PA Lectern
Use this wood finished lectern to amplify your voice in meetings or any other event event. For in-building use only.
