MPH in Occupational Health Nursing Print


As part of the Public Health Leadership Program, this Master of Public Health degree program with concentration in Occupational Health Nursing is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, Inc.(NLNAC), 61 Broadway--33rd Floor, New York, NY 10006; 800-669-1656, ext. 153.

The curriculum of study includes:

  • Public Health Science courses: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Policy and Leadership, Health Behavior and Health Education, and Environmental Science
  • Occupational Health Sciences: Industrial Hygiene, Toxicology, Occupational Safety/Ergonomics, and Interdisciplinary Approaches to Occupational Health
  • Occupational Health Nursing courses
  • Practicum
  • Master's Paper

Residential Program:

  • Full-time or part-time study
  • May be completed in 16 months (full-time)
