Work Life Wellness for Managers and Supervisors

Sponsored by the North Carolina Local Management Support Supervisors Association

August 21, 2008 Camp Caraway, NC

We all work in organizations where some people are not good team players or others do not see the value of establishing good working relationships with you or anyone else. You can’t change them and you have to work with them….so what can you do

Ever wish that you could speak honestly, without fear? Do you find it hard to say what you need to say, for fear of getting in trouble? And, no matter what you do, you find that the situation does not improve? Do you work in an organization that keeps on demanding that more be done with less and in less time? Ever feel stressed out, or emotionally overloaded, or that you could spin out of control

Work Life Wellness is a workshop that addresses these issues head on. Using a variety of self-assessment tools, you will gain insight into the choices you make and the changes you might wish to make. You will be offered many options and ideas for helping yourself and improving work life situations. This course is designed to help you change habits to improve your effectiveness and learn skills to manage stress before it manages you.

We invite you to take this opportunity to invest in and focus on yourself. Learn the secrets to gaining and keeping a genuinely positive attitude, communicating more clearly and coping more effectively with the stresses and strains of daily life.
