Fellowship and International Funding Opportunities at SPH and UNC

 FHI-UNC Public Health Fellowship offers doctoral and second-year master's student the opportunity to work with a researcher at Family Health International.
- Malawi-UNC Public Health Summer Institute is a program for all Health Affairs students to take a one-week short course with Malawian MPH students in Blantyre, Malawi and then to do field research for an additional 2-6 weeks.
- The Center for Global Initiatives (formerly University Center for International Studies) awards travel funds to graduate students. They have several funding mechanisms, so be sure to visit their website to learn more.
- Please visit the UNC database of internal funding opportunities (travel, dissertation, thesis, etc.) available for faculty, staff and students through the UNC Research Office.

- ASPH/CDC Allan Rosenfield Global Health Fellowship Program
In recognition of a career dedicated to improving the health of the
world's most vulnerable populations, ASPH, with support from the CDC,
established a fellowship in honor of Dean Allan Rosenfield, dean of the
Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. The Allan
Rosenfield Global Health Fellowship provides international training
opportunities for recent graduates of ASPH member accredited schools of
public health (MPH and Doctoral level). Early career professionals with
graduate degrees from ASPH member schools of public health are also
eligible to apply.
- Idealist.Org: Action Without Borders: Sign up to receive daily emails of job/career opportunities. "Idealist is a project of Action Without Borders, a nonprofit organization founded in 1995 with offices in the United States and Argentina. Idealist is an interactive site where people and organizations can exchange resources and ideas, locate opportunities and supporters, and take steps toward building a world where all people can lead free and dignified lives."
