ECHO is committed to educating and training a cadre of students and working professionals to expand their knowledge of health disparities and to equip them with the skills to work towards eliminating health disparities through research, community action, public health practice, and/or practice.

 

The UNC Interdisciplinary Certificate in Health Disparities program provides a unique residential training opportunity for graduate or professional learners interested in the science of disparity reduction. The certificate program engages students in learning about the complexity of health disparities and  promotes the use of interdisciplinary methods and innovative approaches in their research or public health practice.
