Andrew Olshan, Chair Department of Epidemiology announced the appointment of David Kleckner as Information Technology Manager of the Department of Epidemiology, effective November 19, 2007. David is currently a member of the Department’s programming staff and as IT Manager he will be responsible for the leadership of the professional IT staff (programming and IT support) and the management of various resources for the IT group.  He will also assist with overall planning, developing standards, budget oversight, and be the liaison with faculty, staff, and students.  David will also continue to provide programming support for projects.

David Kleckner is an experienced data manager and analyst in large, complex, multi-site projects in university settings and in private industry. Mr. Kleckner has a B.S. in Computer Science and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute, Inc.
