The faculty and staff at the School of Public Health work together to improve the lives of people throughout North Carolina and the world through teaching, research and practice.
Faculty members are deeply engaged with students, teaching classes, overseeing student organizations, mentoring students and advising. They are also leaders in public health research and practice, taking advantage of state-of-the-art facilities such as the Michael Hooker Research Center, the Ambient Air Research Facility, and the Mass Spectrometry Facility. They often participate in collaborative projects with faculty members in other University departments and those at neighboring schools such as Duke University and North Carolina State University.
Our employees are committed to advancing the field of public health and it is due to their collaborative efforts that our school is ranked the top public school of public health in the nation. |
