Carolina's School of Public Health leads the way in advancing the public's health across North Carolina and around the world. Since 1936, we've been making strides through learning, discovery and practice. Our research, outreach, and education in a number of areas, such as global health and infectious diseases, obesity and nutrition, health disparities, environmental sciences, and health care quality, have made headlines across America. In short, we're at the top, and our world-class research and teaching have taken us there. We did not get to the top alone. Even as a public institution, we can advance our mission only with collaborations with others at UNC and with the help of private citizens committed to the UNC School of Public Health and to the well-being of people worldwide. It is our pleasure to introduce the UNC School of Public Health Advisory Council and the Public Health Foundation. Together, the individuals listed here possess a wealth of experience and knowledge in public health, business, and leadership. It is the School's great honor to have their support. |
