Student Council provides an excellent way to get involved with other students, faculty, professionals, and members of the UNC-Chapel Hill community. It is comprised of a number of different committees including Academic Standards, Fundraising/Social, Community Service, Orientation, Admissions, and Professional Development. Special Interest Group is an organization which has been founded for
the purpose of promoting health informatics and technology. The group
is interdisciplinary, consisting of members throughout the University
with the majority of members in the School of Public Health and the
School of Nursing. We are proud to be the first and only HIMSS student
led group in the nation.
