Business Practices:

Instructional and Information Systems (IIS) provides a wide variety of services to the School of Public Health. Essential technology services support the School's mission and are supported by state, distance education, and education and technology funds provided by the School. These "core services" include the School's website, support of classrooms, support for distance education efforts, backup and restoration of critical desktop data, and server operations that allow people to access, store, and print data and documents securely.

In addition, IIS provides a wide-range of other services on a fee for service business model. If you would like to take advantage of any of these services or discuss your specific information technology needs with our staff, please browse the services page and contact one of our managers.

Working with IIS is easy. At the start of your project we will collaborate with you to develop a Statement of Work (SOW) that outlines the services being offered, the milestones for the project, and the associated costs. All our fees are approved by the University Interdepartmental Fees and Charges committee. We are available for consultation throughout the project and will send you an invoice for our services that is payable by University Account Adjustment or by check (for outside agencies).

Moorhead Conference Room:
