Welcome to the Department of Instructional and Information Systems (IIS). Our department, located at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's School of Public Health, provides a wide array of services to the School and the University community. We provide essential "core" technology services to support the School's mission, as well as a wide-range of other services on a fee for service business model. Some of these services include:

• support of the School's website,
• classroom support,
• support of the distance education efforts of the School,
• backup and restoration of critical desktop and research data,
• server operations that allow people to access, store, and print data and documents securely.
