The Sidney S. Chipman Award

Selection Guidelines:

This award is presented annually to a graduate of the Department of Maternal and Child Health who has made an outstanding contribution to the field of maternal and child health. Except in unusual circumstances, the graduation should have occurred more than five years ago. The recipient should be dedicated to work for human welfare, effective in working with people and getting the job done, and sensitive to the needs, feelings, and ideas of others.
