The training philosophy of the Center is based on the recognition that many disciplines and skills are necessary to create the medical, legal, social and behavioral changes necessary for successful optimal infant and young child feeding and care. Therefore, the teaching and training activities of Center faculty include attention to the following:
Course work offered includes independent study research and a survey course on public health breastfeeding. In addition, a certificate program is under development to provide three training tracks:
