GOALS

This continuing education conference has been designed to enhance the collaborative immunization efforts of public and private health care providers within the evolving immunization delivery system. It will provide an opportunity to address new immunization recommendations and changes in vaccine administration and demonstrate proven strategies to increase immunization rates. This conference will also explore efficient, effective methods of vaccine assurance and accountability to ensure the "Year 2010" goals are met to increase the age-appropriate immunization levels of two-year old children by 90 percent or more and to assure that at least 95 percent of North Carolina children are represented in the North Carolina Immunization Registry.

INTENDED AUDIENCE

Health care providers that administer or facilitate the administration of immunizations in local health departments, private provider offices, hospitals, schools, colleges, universities and child care centers.

CE CREDIT

CEUs will be awarded. The NC Board of Nursing accepts either Contact Hours or CEUs in fulfillment of continuing competence continuing education requirements.
