The Annual North Carolina State Health Director's Conference provides a unique opportunity for local and state public health leaders to convene around public health issues of strategic interest. As in previous years, the 2009 conference has been designed to support capacity development and skill building as well as stimulate thought and discussion. This year's meeting will include the "State of the State of Health in North Carolina" address on the public's health in North Carolina, and the awarding of the Ronald H. Levine Legacy Award for Public Health.
