In keeping with its mission of linking practice and academia, NCIPH provides consultation and program evaluation services to public health agencies and other groups. ConsultationThe Institute's Consulting Services provides a range of consulting services that rely on evidence-based scholarship and the identification and dissemination of best practices. Consulting Services is dedicated to building the capacity of our clients, not only by addressing their immediate needs, but also by introducing solutions that enable them to resolve future problems themselves. EvaluationEvaluation Services provides comprehensive, customer-focused, high quality program planning and evaluation services, in accordance with the American Evaluation Association guidelines. Evaluation team members are experts in a variety of methodologies, including assessment, logic models, qualitative methods such as interviewing, and quantitative methods such as surveys. In addition to providing outstanding services for existing programs, Evaluation Services can develop evaluation strategies for inclusion in grant proposals. Any health-related organization seeking a trained team of evaluators with a reputation for well-designed and articulated evaluations would benefit from the Institute's Evaluation Services. The evaluation team has worked with a variety of clients, from local and state health departments to international clients. Evaluation Services designs its work based on the needs of the customer. A project can be customized to meet a variety of needs from basic consultation to comprehensive program planning and evaluation.
