The current tuition rate for North Carolina residents is $288 per credit hour. The current out-of-state tuition rate is $578 per credit hour. All applicants who claim to be North Carolina legal residents for tuition purposes must file a Residency Status Form with their application.

There is an additional registration fee of $32.00 per semester in addition to tuition for the fall and spring semesters and $2.94 per credit hour for the summer semester.

Tuition rates are determined by the NC legislature and therefore subject to change without notice.

Residency status 

Tuition rates are based on your residency status. Therefore, determining your residency is very important. Please complete the appropriate form and return it to Michele Dry, Program Registrar.

If you have lived in the state of North Carolina for three years or longer by the first day of classes of the term for which you are applying, complete the short form.

If you have lived in the state of North Carolina fewer than three years by the first day of classes of the term for which you are applying, complete the long form.

If you or your spouse are not US citizens, complete the Supplemental Form in addition to the Long Residency Form.

Financial aid
