| 'One Health' Forum on NC Oil Spill Response, Recovery and Health Effects |
Is North Carolina ready to handle a major oil spill?
The BP oil spill may or may not affect the NC coast, but it has
provided a good opportunity to evaluate readiness and communications on
the local, state and federal levels. Participants at our oil spill forum
discussed North Carolina's strengths, coordination, collaborations, and how to train and use volunteers, and identified areas that need
additional coverage and management.
