The Public Health Leadership Program has a critical responsibility to attract and prepare public health leaders who will make a difference on issues affecting local, national and global communities.  The PHLP classes are filled with students who posses an ever-expanding array of experiences, cultural backgrounds and achievements. Our students are experienced public health practitioners, public health nurses, occupational health nurses and medical students. While some reside here in the Triangle area of North Carolina, many live and work in regions across the country and around the globe.  Today’s technology has enabled our students to participate in collegiate education at the touch of a button.  Our students pursue their degrees without interrupting their professional lives.
