The current tuition rate for North Carolina residents is $288 per credit hour. The current out-of-state tuition rate is $576 per credit hour. All applicants who claim to be North Carolina legal residents for tuition purposes must file a Residency Status Form with their application.

Tuition rates are determined by the NC legislature and therefore subject to change without notice.

• Short form if you have lived in NC for 5 years or more
• Long form if you have not lived in NC for 5 years

There is an additional registration fee of $32 per semester in addition to tuition for the fall and spring semesters and $1.21 per credit hour for the summer semester.
