Want to get your research noticed? Here are a few places to start as you begin thinking about disseminating your research. Communications OfficeIf you have a story about your research, scholarship or service
experiences that might be interesting to the media, on our Web site, or

Dissemination CorePart of the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Dissemination Core works with research to design, evaluate and implement dissemination strategies. Journal Impact FactorsJournal impact factors are published by the Journal Citation Reports of Thomson Scientific's Institute for Scientific Information. A journal impact factor is a "measure of the frequency with which the 'average article' in a journal has been cited in a particular year or period." JCR calculates the impact factor of a journal by dividing the number of current year citations to the source items published in that journal during the previous two years. ISI Journal Citation Reports are available online. Office of Research Editing ServiceThe Office of Research provides editing assistance for grant proposals, manuscripts for publication, or any other scientific research report for School of Public Health faculty and staff.
