Our School has numerous spaces in which faculty, staff, students and others may host classes, seminars, meetings, and other events or programs. We also provide A / V and other teaching and event support services.

Room Reservation Process

Availability: Meeting Room Manager (MRM) gives users easy access to up-to-date room availability. If you would like to log into MRM to see available spaces and reserve them (and you are not a current user), please send your name, department and onyen to sph-osa@unc.edu.

Process:
The Office of Student Affairs will confirm all requests and a confirmation will be sent. Requests for meetings, events, or programs will not be confirmed until classes have been scheduled for that semester (i.e., March 15, 2010 for Fall 2010; November 1, 2010 for Spring 2011 reservations). Also note that departmental conference rooms must be reserved via the appropriate department.

Helpful Hints:

• MRM functions best in Internet Explorer.
  
• A User's Guide is posted to MRM's front page.
• In MRM, double click on the room number (at the top of the calendar that shows the schedule) to see the capacity and layout of the room.
• When searching for a room, the default location is "Rosenau Hall." Be sure to select "All Locations" or specific buildings for other options.
• To take advantage of MRM's full functionality, it is important that you provide specific event/activity information, including your department. Please provide all requested information, including the "other" tab along the dark blue bar.
• IIS has agreed to open several of its small conference rooms to the SPH community for events and other activities. You may now reserve the following rooms in Rosenau Hall: 217, 219C, 231. A confirmation will not be sent for these rooms.
