Our School was ranked top public school of public health by U.S. News & World Report in 2007), and it tied with Harvard for second place overall. 

Schools of public health are ranked by U.S. News & World Report about every three years.  The UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health has been ranked in the top three ever since the graduate school rankings began.

• The Department of Health Policy and Management's executive master's program for physician-executives has been ranked best overall by Modern Healthcare magazine (2008) for the third year in a row.
