Peggye Dilworth-Anderson, PhD, professor of Health Policy and Management in the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Public Health, has been elected president of the Gerontological Society of America. She will assume the presidency in 2009. [complete story]
Brent Wishart, facilities coordinator at the School of Public Health, has been chosen as recipient of the University of North Carolina School of Public Health’s 2008 Staff Excellence Award.
