On campus, take a good luck sip of water from the legendary Old Well, then take a peek at the Dean Dome, the home of renowned coaches and champion athletes. Spend an evening wandering through the many restaurants and shops along downtown Chapel Hill’s Franklin Street. While you’re in the area, come to a firework show at a Durham Bulls minor league baseball game or a concert at the Cat’s Cradle. Feel the magic of history and tradition as you watch young men follow the footsteps of Jackie Robinson or as you are entertained by a local band on a stage that was once home to a young James Taylor and Ben Folds. Take some time and explore,
not only the School
of Public Health, but the
entire UNC campus and the surrounding areas.
No doubt, you will be kept busy and stimulated as you discover the
limitless beauty, culture and history that lay at your fingertips.

A day, a weekend, even a month
or a lifetime might not be enough time for you to do and see all that there is
at UNC and in the Chapel Hill area.
