The 26th Annual Minority Health Conference, "Health and the Built Environment: The Effects of Where We Live, Work and Play," has this afternoon (Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004) been cancelled due to the threatening snowstorm now blanketing North Carolina. The William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education has no open dates this spring so the conference will not be rescheduled for this year. Refunds will be issued upon written request to: Registrar Office of Continuing Education Campus Box 8165 School of Public Health Chapel Hill, NC 27599-8165 Registrants and others are invited to mark their calendars for Feb. 25, 2005 -- next year's conference -- when we will indeed tackle "Health and the Built Environment: The Effects of Where We Live, Work and Play."
