Open House

As part of UNC's Family Weekend, the School of Public Health hosted an open house on Friday, October 27, 2006 from 3-5pm.  This event was held in the Atrium of the Michael Hooker Research Center.  While this event was open to the UNC community, it was mainly attended by freshmen and sophomores who were interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) in one of our four undergraduate departments.

The open house gave prospective students an opportunity to meet with Dr. Felicia Mebane, Assistant Dean for Students, program directors, faculty, and current BSPH students.  Students were also treated to a lab tour that was conducted by Andy Shapiro, a senior majoring in Environmental Sciences and Engineering.
