Cost of attendance
The university provides estimated costs of attendance to help undergraduate and graduate students anticipate expenses while attending UNC.
Tuition and fees
Tuition and fees (assessed on a semester basis) are due prior to registration. Please note that costs for specific degrees or certificates may vary depending on factors such as whether it is a distance learning program (See page 9: "Off Campus Programs" in the linked document) or if instruction extends through a summer period. (Tuition and fees for summer terms are prorated by number of hours taken.)
Tuition and fees are subject to change without notice, and additional course specific fees (See page 10: "Course-specific Fees") may be applicable to your program.

The last day to drop a course for credit on student financial accounts is two weeks after the first day of class for each semester.
